electric guitar strings?

i don't really know which 1 to buy..
any recomendation guys?

My suggestion would be to try out a bunch of brands. They all have slightly different feels, even if the gauge is the same. I prefer D'Addario, but others prefer Ernie Ball, others prefer others. I guess my advice would be to pick a gauge range (like 10-46) and then try a different brand each time you restring and see which one you like the best.

I only use these for E and Eb tuning:



I have D'addarios on my Ibanez, but I don't like them. They'll be changed as soon as I break a string. The Ernie Balls have more life to them imo..

But yeah, try out a few brands.. everybody has different tastes in strings

wait are you running a floyd or string thru/stop tail
if its a floyd, 9's ernie balls
string thru/ stop tail, ernie balls heavy bottom, lite top

Count me in on the EB Super Slinkys, too. Haven't had string break issues, since I switched to them. They seem to last quite well.

I would have to get used to the Slinkys...9-42 is a bit light for me. I use D'Addario 10-46.
