I need to remove some blems left on the back of the neck due to the cheap ass G&G case the guitar was shipped in. Who knows what grit is the final step before oiling the neck?

Because it is slight indentations left in the wood from the neck support in the case. I was thinking some light sanding with the right paper and an oil wipe down were good as new.Comment

IMO...start lightly with 600... and then finish with 1000 grit, or 1200
I know one thing, im not using steel wool anymore! Leaves too much
black dust in the fretboard. :-((Comment
