This is a used guitar...I'll tell you all more about it a little later, but it was a righty converted to a lefty.
As it stands, the guitar has absolutely no volume/balls to it. I hooked it up to my JSX and I had to turn the master volume to 4 in order to get any sound from the guitar. With my other guitars, the master is set at .666 and I get great tone at that setting. The amp/cables are all fine.
The input jack and volume pot were replaced at some point so I went ahead a replaced those two parts again without any success. I also replaced the bridge pickup while doing all this.
When I first got the guitar, it didn't have any volume either so I know (hopefully) I didn't screw anything up. So I thinking that the prior owner(s) screwed something up and although I replaced things, I hooked up the new parts like the old.
Any ideas what would be SUCKING to tone from my guitar?
btw: my system is hooked up this way:
Also: for a single volume setup, is a 500k pot better than a 250k??? why???
