Duncan pickup ID

I guys I need some help...two part question

1. when did the Duncan pickups go from just the white label on the bottoms to the white lable and the embossed Seymour logo and writing on bottom of pickup?

2. I have a model which has the white label DDP...I assume DD is for Duncamn Distortion does anyone know what P stands for...logical to assume Pickup but anyone know

I believe the P stands for the initial of the person who built the pickup.

I have heard that it is the winders initial from many people. "J" is very common.

I am not sure about the bottom embossing start. I just know that the embossing changed slightly by the early 90's.

In 1987 I bought a Duncan Invader for my strat. It was embossed on the base plate and had the white sticker. It is my oldest CONFIRMED Duncan. I also have a double creme '59 bridge Duncan with no embossed plate but only the white sticker. Yes, the last letter (if there is one) is the initial of the builder.
