how to widen the neck pocket?

i have a warmoth body and a non warmoth neck.
thw neck heel is slightly wider than the pocket.
what is the best/easiest way to widen the pocket?

imo, you may have an easier time in getting to fit by trimming the heel down instead of going at the neck pocket.

+1 on sanding down the heal. Widening the pocket it something left to a professional who has all the right tools/templates. I had mine widened from 2-2/16 to 2-3/16, basically 1/32 from each side which I had Denny do. There was a little paint chipping but it was worth it because the cost of a 2-2/16 neck was crazy over the 2-3/16 counterpart.
