I have a Peavey tube head, and I decided to pull it out of retirement tonight and play thru it. It was going really good, learning all the controls and how to get a good tone. And then all the sudden it went from like..Ampeg punch/growl/bass to like flub and like a cough and shit. Does it need new tubes? shortage on the mother board to cause length of times playing to just get to hot and then sound crappie or what?
