I wouldn't suggest it myself. The last time I cut out a pickup routing I ended up with a bigger hole than I started with. It was a real mess. Your best bet is to fill it in with wood.My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am. -

Are you looking to add a pickup hole where there is none, or are you looking to expand a current route?
I've expanded an existing route with a Dremel and router bit, but I slipped and gouged the top of the body a bit (my bad - didn't go in the right direction like I should have), so it's easy enough to do on your own (especially on an import beater [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] )
