Fixing an Ibanez SM-9

I bought an Ibanez SM-9 cheaply because it was broken and I wanted to try to fix it but I think it's beyond my abilities. It only works when it's in the off mode and has very short sustain, is extremely buzzy and I have no control over any of the controls. I also have very little idea where to start besides taking off the cover
