Lets just say for instance that the end of the truss rod in your bolt on neck somehow got stripped or damaged so the allen head wrench no longer worked, can they replace a truss rod in a neck? Im talking about the truss rod in the neck of a US DK-1.

Nah...didnt strip it.. Just got the guitar NOS at a hell of a price. Trans Red flame top...love the guitar and I adjusted the neck first thing. The reason I ask is the allen key that came with it doesnt seem to go in the end of the rod very far and it was tough to get it out, most likely due to the string tension against it. It adjusted fine but Im a bit paranoid...hehehe.

Well theres your problem, your not supposed to be using an allen wrench, your supposed to be using a socket or closed end style wrench on the outside of the nut, not an allen on the inside .Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...
