I'm curious. I know there have been distortion and overdrive pedals built using 12AX7 tubes, but has Anyone ever tried building one utilizing power tubes?
I know the pedal would be a bit big, but I've seen some rather large ones anyway. I'm not into that sort of thing, but I was just wondering and if it hasn't been done, what is the major reason.
