stupid stringquestion

is it okay to take off all the strings at and then restring them or do I have to do this one by one as I've been doing the past ten years ?(been told to do so by the dealer I bought my first axe)

it's fine. Taking all the strings off provides you with a good opportunity to give your fretboard a thorough cleaning too.

My Soloist spent a couple of years in a WAREHOUSE without strings and with nothing supporting the ack of the trem. It works perfect.
