yet another possible EMG F*** UP!

Here we go. Short and sweet. I installed An EMG-ZW`(81 & 85) in my warrior yesterday. I plug it in and it works perfectly. Except that the volume pot is at max level at mid sweep, and decreases as you go higher and lower (zero volume at min & max). I think i have a defective pot on my hands, but i see alot of emg problem posts on this board and im wondering if maybe i am missing something retarded.

sounds like you wired the pot as a "mix" if that is possible. I am notfamiliar with EMG's, but it sounds like you screwed up the in/out of the pot somehow. Check your diagram again!

Yeah. You sure you didn't wire the hot lead to the wrong tab?

Looking at the bottom of the pot, as you would from the back of the guitar into the control cavity, the three legs should be, from left to right, in - out - ground.
