Question about necks - Dinkys

Is it true that any style DK2 neck (reverse, normal headstock, maple, etc) will fit any other DK2? I've heard chatter that DK2 necks can come in two different heel sizes, 2 3/16" and 2 1/4". What's the deal?

I ask because I am interested in replacing the neck on my DK2. If i do replace it, will I need to re-intonate or adjust the bridge/action?

All the DK necks have the same heel size.
You may need to make minor adjustments to the bridge and or truss rod.
