Looking for something different

OK I have decided to keep and hot rod my model 375 deluxe. I'm looking for something similar to my other setups but slightly different. I'm looking for something that is punchy but also growls. I don't really want to go to an active pickup. My 83 charvel has the jb /59 set up. My 86 model 3a is set up with a screamin deamon/ j-80. My esp has the screamin deamon and esp s100 single coil. My old aria has an old emg 81,when it was installed back in 85 or 86 the two single coils in the guitar where left dead could not run both passive and active. I have thought about removing that and putting it in the 375, but i would still like to use the single coils. Has anyone tried to sd alnicos? What about andersons? Looking for some opinions of what you have tried.

Brian - If you like the screamin' demons, you'll probably dig Gibson's Iommi sig as well. Very similar but a bit hotter.
