Yeah looks like champagne pink to me, not burgundy. Nice though.

No question it is pink or salmon color, but the official name for it is Burgundy Mist. Burgundy is a deep red, but I guess when it "mists" it's pink? Pretty sure that color name goes quite a way back with cars and Fender guitars.

I had a candy red model 2 as well it was a very late run guitar because it had a Kahler floyd style nut,guitar shaped logo and script logo'd OHSC.I aquired it from a dealer that bought it at a NAMM show.I bought a Kelly Pro in green metal flake from him as well as a Model 7 in TSB/ash.Really? well screw Mark Twain.Comment

I haven't been on for a long while but the guitar is finished!
I have come on to see if Sean has put the pics on? guess not....
I think he is putting it together before he posts.
I had to go back to the base of body as they gave me cr*p laquer at the paint shop which never dried right! OMG the time it takes to strip right back...
and i changed back to base black.
This one is a totally NEW eerie dess style pattern I created myself!!!!
I call it the 'lolly vee dess'
