Hmm, if it's reading about 9k like the auction states, I'd think possibly a PAF or PAF Pro. I hate the way old DiMarzios don't have any model number or other marking to tell what it is.

Yeah it's a PAF pro. Nice sounding pup even toned and sweet.

out of curiosity, I have a Dimarzio out of my gunslinger that has a similar marking on the back. Did they intentionally not put a model # on the pickups, if they were to be used in a production guitar, or is '89 just old enough to be an 'old' Dimarzio?
