he did my jackson flamed mapled guitar that was done well and done quickly! it was a hideous purple at the start. i didn't even know it was flamed maple 'til marty stripped it and mentioned how rare it was.
i'd send another body or two to marty with total confidence!
Also, I always thought that a pro paint job took a lot longer than 5-7 days. Is that really long enough for a real pro job?
Marty is near San Marcos, CA. If you use poly's as does Marty, you can get a "Pro Job" very quickly. Marty started in the automotive business with painting, then he moved to guitars since he is a player himself. He's done work for all the major guitar builders. One of his "claim to fame" signature paint work's is the Big flake metallics for G & L guitars. I love the gold finishes

i'm not sure exactly what setup Marty has..but maybe he's using that UV light setups which dries poly really quickily... i'm not 100% sure but i think PRS was using something like that as well for awhile...might still be
anyways i've never heard anything negative regarding Marty's finishes
I bought a Charvel Model 2 that the previous "Moron"painted the body with White House paint So Now I want to refinish it in the stock Black Color. Anyone Interested??Price??
