Sorry, just had another thought and question: is the original floyd basically structured the same as the floyds on the dk2's? (IE: shape, size, layout, etc) After playing a fender strat with a fender system I floating trem bridge for so long, I am finding it difficult to properly place my hand on the floyd to mute the strings. I am wondering if replacing my current dk2 F.R. bridge with an original F.R. will make a difference, or are they the same design with different material.
