  • Scallopped 24 fret Rhoads

If you scallopped a 24 fret rhoads...

    which frets would you scallop?

    from 19 to 24?
    from 21 to 24?
    from ?? to ????

    some help would be awesome

    thanks

If I did it I would do 1-20. I never understood doing 21-24 personally. The only way I can even feel the fretboard when playing that high is if the frets are really small or I press down so hard that I hurt my fingers and the notes go sharp.

i'm all about scalloping the whole board.

unless you're getting a custom Strat, you know what i'm saying, and plan on using a capo, then I'd scallop 12-24...

but one of the two. and i love scalloped boards.

      hope that helps!!!

Scallop the whole board or not at all, IMO.
