Re: scalloped heel
From my understanding, these terms describe different neck joints of bolt on guitars.
If the body is carved to be thinner in the area where the neck is screwed to the body,
with the carving still being level with the body, one could call it scalloped. Thats
what dinky style Jacksons have.
If the neck joint is carved to be a thinnest in the area of the lower cutaway, one could
call it angle heel. My infamous JRS1 has this kind of neck joint.
