Hi, I have decided to change out the stock pick/up in my near mint 1990 Charvel Predator. I have been told that it has eaither a basswood or alder body? What pick/up would be a good choice? I play 80's metal type stuff. thanx!
It is a basswood body. A Duncan Custom would probably sound good, or a Dimarzio of some kind, they get used a lot in Ibanez's and they are basswood mostly too.
