Can the GT-8 switch channels on my JSX? I'm thinking of getting one to run for effects and would love it if it would switch my JSX channels along with preset effects. I assume I need some sort of custom cable?

From the specs on the Boss homepage, it would seem that the GT-8 does have an amp control jack. I have a GT-PRO and I use it for controlling the channels in my Engl. One thing I would worry about, though, is that according to the specs, the GT-8 only has one amp control jack, and if that's mono jack, it may not be enough for some amps. For example, my Engl requires a stereo control cable, so I use both the amp control jacks in my GT-PRO to change between clean/crunch/lead.
