Just looking for some quick info on jackson's j-1000 circuit. I have an '88 limited edition that has this circuit in it. I thought it was basically an eq boost(low/mid/high), but then read a post on these boards that said it's actually the same as a wah-wah circuit. Just curious as to what the circuit really is, or where I could find some details on it. I tried searching the forums, but didn't find much about it. Would appreciate any info you can give me.

Re: j-1000 circuit
The "wah wah circuit" was the JE-1500. Yours allows you to select a variety of tonal frequencies and emphasize them in their output characteristics. There's three mini switches on the circuit to make these adjustments, and each switch has three options. Pretty nice circuit, it really makes the guitar come alive."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."
