J-90c vs J-80c & Dimarzio Breed humbucker... for Savatage tone?

J90C is a cool pickup, very harmonically rich. It is a weak in the bass frequencies though. You can definitely get good 80's hair metal sound out of it. Decent for shred too. I did not find it great for heavy chunking sound though, mostly for the lack of bass I mentioned.

I am pretty good at pinch harmonics. Wish I was better at actually playing the guitar. But I can make it scream...
The Breed is one of my fav DiMarzio pickups actually. It has a hotter PAF sound, but it's also very hot and meaty at the same time. When wired in Split Parallel, it produces some nice 'notch tones'.
+1 for the DiMarzio EVO2
+1 for the DiMarzio Evolution as well. All 3 are nice pups in my opinion.
