    I use GHS Fast Fret after I get done playing. I put just enough on to keep the fingerboard from drying out. It will soak in and be dry by the next day. I don't like to use it before I play.

          Yes, you don't want to disturb the mojo. Once I removed some lint from behind a fret on my maple neck, and the guitar hasn't sounded the same since.
