        duncan invader!

        you're wanting to cover Ozzy to Metallica tones, which are 2 really different tones. if your talking the Rhoads years anyway.

        the distortion will get you close to the Rhoads tones.
        the tb-14 is too scooped for early ozzy.
        the dimarzio super distortion will do pretty well
        the JB will achive megadeth tones.

        but the Invader will be tight like an EMG yet give you the rich passive harmonics that the EMG's lack.

          True. I believe Hetfield used an Invader on the MOP album.
