I've got a an older (mid-80s) Duncan Distortion in my Soloist Pro.
The damm thing has feedback like crazy, even at low volume.
It's heavily microphonic, I can tap on the body at it'll boom through the amp. Even moving the switch, you hear an amplifed "clunk"
I took this pup out of my Dean, where it was quiet as a mouse.
I personally think my actives are screwed (good battery), properly wired.
Anybody got any suggestions before I rip out the circut and replace with standard pots?
