Wilkinson tuners??

Does anybody in here know anything about these tuners? Anybody tried 'em?
I'm figuring that since they're half the price of Grovers, then they're probably half the quality as well

Made in China not bad quality tho'.
Trevor Wilkinson is building a brand of L.P ans Strat copys called "Vintage"in China.They play pretty well and except for the headstock they are pretty close.
GO Music in Berea Ky carries this line and they are one of the only dealers in the USA.

hey ive got a vintage lp copy and it rocks its as good if not better then a gibson studio

They are really pretty nice guitars very well made.They sound killer too.I like the Peter Green model.I say Gibson will bust their balls in the future.

Those tuners are made in the Rin Ho factory. They also have self-branded tuners. I was apprehensive at first, but bought a set of each. One set was to replace the worn out tuners on my 1980 Aria Pro II LP. I was very pleasantly surprised by how smooth they are. I normally buy the Grover 18:1 tuners, but these are half the price. They feel very much like the Grovers, but have a faster ratio. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but if I had to guess, I'd say 15:1. I can't vouch for how well they will last, since I've only had them for a couple of weeks, but so far they are great. They don't feel or look cheap at all.

By the way, many import Jackson guitars came with Rin Ho tuners. If you remove a tuner, you'll see the Rin Ho logo.

Thanks for the input man! Yeah, from what I've read they are 15:1..And for half the price of Grovers, they can't be all that bad, but I bought Grovers for my Explorer - but in one of my next projects they'll probably do the trick!

It's worth giving them a try. I'm pretty sure that Grovers are made in China these days anyway. Who knows, they might even be made in the same factory.

Never heard of "Vintage" before... looks like Gibson isn't the only one they're ripping off.
