I am getting a buzz in the lower frets of my RX10D. So I'm trying to loosen the truss rod to get rid of the backbow. I got the truss rod cover off. The thing is I've made quite a few turns (the truss rod turns easily) on the truss rod so far and the buzz is still there. I didn't want to make too many turns on it in one day. Is it normal for it to sometimes take a few turns on the truss rod until there is enough relief?

I do not know, but from what I have read/heard..a trussrod adjustment should be done in 1/4 turn increments. But I have never done one, and cannot say I am right...I just know I read or heard that somewhere. -

Well I've been doing it in 1/4 turns, but it seems like it is going to take quite a few of them to get rid of the backbow.Comment
