but i cant figure out what type/model it is. the logo is silver or grey(its old) and on the bottom it say emg-H. my 89 says emg-89 and my 91 says emg-91 so what the heck is an emg-H?!

An EMG-H is a singlecoil in a humbucker housing. It has a grey logo to distinguish it from other EMG pickup models.

And, yes, the H is a single coil in humbucker housing. It is a very old model that's still around. That's what Kirk Hammett uses as the neck pickup in his '85 custom black Rhoads (with an 81 in the bridge).I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
