do you HAVE to put batteries in them to makem work, or is it only for the pre-amp or whatever....???

Active Pickups Qeustion

Your have to do a lot more wiring for active, ie EMG, pickups to work. 1, You need a stereo jack. 2, With EMG's you need 25K pots. 3, Just don't leave in plugged in at the guitar. Like they said, the battery will last a long time. And, 4, they are a pain in the ass if you have a loaded pickguard and no access in the back of the guitar.:ROTF:I am a true ass set to this board.
