Any body in here build their own rack cases? I'm debating on building one for my mixer!

I have one I use here at home but it isnt road worthy it just holds all my home recording gear. I need to build one tho. My mixer is rack mountable but bigger than most cases allow by just a few spaces.

Yes this one reason why I wanna build my own, that and I can't justify paying 400-500 bills for a custom one!

Gator shock racks. That's all I buy anymore. They have very nice construction, strong and light weight. I used to build my own boxes back in the day. They were just too heavy and the ones I used foam in, the material broke down over the years. I actually placed them in the trash
