Drug out my 92 Dinky XL and put in a DiMarzio PAF and 2 non stacked DiMarzio singles.Great tone but still have a vol drop with the middle pickup when in the 2 position on the 5 way.
I wired it wide open and coil tapped with the south coil of the PAF and cured part of the vol drop problem.
I have used this combination before with no vol drop in the 2 position(bridge and middle) but I can't find my schematic and there is nothing at guitarelectronics.com that cures the problem I guess the humbucker is sucking power from the single coil.
I'm trying not to use a stacked single because I want to keep the clean single coil sound.Any Ideas on the wiring?
