F spacing on Duncan pups

I'm thinking of getting either Invader (b and n models) or a JB/Jazz to put in my RR3, but Duncan pups dont seem to come F spaced when I look on eBay.

Can someone tell me if this matters? Do I really need to find an Invader for the bridge position that is F spaced? I was under the impression any guitar with a Floyd type trem needed F spaced pups, but maybe I'm wrong?

While I'm on the subject, would the Invader n and b models be a good combo for the RR3 to play death/heavy metal? Or would the JB/Jazz be better? I already have the JB in my SL3 so I'm thinking I'd prefer the Invader for a different sound.

Invaders are only one spacing since their pole pieces are so big.
I don't normally care for the JB. I had a Kelly XLR once that I put an old pair of non-logoed Invaders in, and they rocked!

The Invader will melt the windings in your speakers

I'd go with an Invader for the sound/tone you are looking for.

Thank you guys! Good replies, I can now look for some of those red Invaders. Two of them should look nice in a black RR3!

Would it be worthwhile getting two Invader SH8b's or is the SH8n much better for the neck position? What's the difference?

Neck pickup has a little less output thats usually the only difference.You can use either whatever sound good to you.
When dealing with invaders F spacing dosn't matter the pole are huge.

F Spaced Duncan pickups are referred as Trembuckers. Instead of having SH in the model number they have a TB. So a JB with tremspacing is TB-4.

Again thanks for all the replies. Krimson, I just realised that myself. I was looking at the pups on eBay and wondered why the JB comes in either "TB" or "SH" then saw a review of a guitar that mentions the TB is for trem guitars.
Dreamland, yeah I'm really hoping these things rock and don't look out of place.

I bought the TB model JB for my RR3 when it had the licensed trem in it. Later I changed that to a Floyd Rose Pro which uses standard spacing. I did not notice any difference in sound with the change. Some perfectionist may pick at the spacing, but I am not that anal.
