  • 3 Different tuners = 3 different results

I have 3 tuners my Zoom 505 (which is my primary), GXN3 and my computer using Amplitube. If I tune to one and then unplug an plug into another it's not tuned. They all sound good to my ear. So I don't know which one is "correct" and which one is "wrong". I've been using my Zoom 505 for the past 10 yrs. I'm leaning towards that one.

Are they all attached to the same power source? I know a dying battery will cause the tuner to tune incorrectly.

But are the two standalone units plugged into the same power strip/outlet or otherwise on the same household circuit? I think that was the intent of the question.

I'd say the Amplitube was the least-trusty, simply because it's a plugin running on a memory-intensive app on a computer that already has a memory-hogging OS.
