So, I've read about all kinds of lubricants/stuff one should put on the knife edges of a Floyd-style trem to help it stay in tune.
Graphite powder, chapstick... you name it.
I think I have found another good one... reel good.
Fishing reel good.

Quantum makes a high-tech teflon infused reel oil called hotsauce.

It's supposed to actually get into the metal on a molecule by molecule level.

Well, it works.

About 8 bucks for a little container of it, and it has an nice 1/2" long metal tube dispenser that let's you put it right where you need it, not everywhere.

It works like magic, even on a well-worn JT-6.

also works great on kahlers... all the little rolling stuff going on there... frees it up nicely

I use a dry lube called TW-25B it bonds with the metal and protects it at the molecular level as well.Its used by the military to lube weaponry.
US Army Rangers and Navy Seals use it and I have had great results with automatic and semi automatic weapons so why not on guiatrs that you sweat on?
I'll give that reel lube a try too thanks for the heads up.

just a drop on the pivot post/edges should help it return to pitch and extend the mtbspe.
(mean time between sharpening pivot edges)
