Pup suggestions?

So I'm going to put a pickup in my RR24 and an EMG PA-2 and I was looking for something low output to run with my 6505+
preferably a passive EMG
any ideas?

Haven't tried the PA-2, but I do have an AfterBurner with HZs and they sound pretty good with the AB up about 1/3rd - just to where you can tell it's being overdriven, but not so high it hisses.

At full-blast, it's just too much mud to be of any use.

Is there somemuch of a difference in tone w/ the AB/PA-2 in the EMG Hz's?

It has a nice balanced sound overall, much better than a JB imo, more meat if you know what I mine. It's an high output pickup but it's suitable for any kind of music. One of the best Duncans I heard. I wanna compare it to a DiMarzio Super 3 though.

it's between a jb and the distortion as far as output goes, but it's more balanced and open sounding. it'll tear your face off, but they don't get muddy. i love them dearly.
