Non-Fine Tuning Floyd and Big Block

I know there are a million opinions about the tonal value that the "big block" may or may not add, but I'm not looking for that kind of information.

My question is this.....

I've got an original non-fine tuning Floyd. Will a new brass Floyd big block bolt up to it? My Floyd is cerca 1983 if that makes a difference.

Not sure, as most are only guaranteed to fit the "original" fine-tuning model...

The tonal difference IS substantial, btw.
