Just intalled an RSguitarworks modern tele upgrade kit in my el cheapo($68.00)Chinese Deltatone tele and wow the new cap smokes.
Nice tones on the clean channel and on the dirt it wails.Very little 60 cycle hum.
The new modern cap is really transparent.Used a 280 super pot for the vol and a 250 for the tone.Also installed a new switchcraft 3-way switch. and all vintage cloth coverd wire.
Outstanding upgrade for a cheap guitar.
