Hey All,

Well, the title says it all..Has anyone had the opportunity to check this pickup out?..I know it's only available through the custom shop - so I imagine the price of the pickup is just shy of a pot of gold and a left nut..I'm thinking it may be similiar to a JB but a tad bit hotter, maybe..(but I'm prolly wrong)

its a JB with an Alnico II magnet instead of the Alnico 5 magnet that comes with the JB.

should be a little hairier sounding than the JB with smoothers highs and lows.

It's a great pickup - a lot brighter than a JB. I ordered an RTM from one of our dealers (Nick at Piney Hills). The base plate came signed by Warren and Seymour Duncan.

It's brighter than a JB?!? The JB is bright enough! Damn, I thought these were supposed to be hotter, warmer versions of the JB.

The JB in my SL2H nails anything Warren did. No need for a new sig pickup.
