What Kind of glue should I use?

What type of glue should I use to glue a neck on a neck through body?

I'm thinking about making my custom Explorer with a neck through. Any ideas?

For cabinet (as in amp) construction, will regular Elmers Carpenters glue work? Not going to be too heavy (12" speaker and a Valve Junior Chassis)

For cab work, yes that will be absolutely fine IMHO. I used to work in a furniture cab. shop part time during college, We bought the stuff by the 5 gallon drum. (Lota glue)
