I was changing strings on one of my axes yesterday, and the nut just popped off. What type of glue should I use to put it back? I don't want to use the wrong stuff. Thanks!

I had a loose nut on a guitar but I forgot about it when I was cutting the old strings off. That sucker shot off the neck when I got to the small E. I could have put an eye out. You could always tack it down. In otherwords, just don't glue it down so well that you can't get it off.

HA! That's exactly what happened to me. I wasn't cutting the strings, but when I was taking them off with the string winder, I got to the high E and that sucker just shot off the headstock into an amp. Never had that happen before.
