  • Got my PUPs today

JB SH-4 which IMHO doesn't look or physically feel any better than Duncan Design. Installed it into one of my DX10 (almost late for my flight)and its does sound better.. Even though I like the sound of the Duncan Designs.. I also got my Dave Mustaine Live wire which I will be installing my RR3 when I get off the road.

I have to admit, I think that the Duncan Designs sound excellent too. I have a set of the distortion pickups which are designed like the Duncan Distortions. They sound very similar.

I thought the only difference between actual Duncans and Duncan Designed was who made the pickups. The specs should be identical.

No there's more to it than that.

I LOVE my JB, it's the reason I decided to upgrade all the pups in my guitars to Duncans.
