  • How to wire a 3-way ON-ON-ON switch as a 3-way pickup selector?

I'm wondering how to wire a 3-way mini switch like this one as a pickup selector in a 2 humbucker guitar (Bridge, bridge/neck, neck):
Huge selection of top brand guitar & bass electronics, pickups, parts & hardware. Plus hundreds of free guitar wiring diagrams.

It has 6 pins...which three should I use and how what to use as a ground?

Thanks, but I don't think it helps much. Is your miniswitch grounded? I don't see it in the pic, unless it's grounded somehow on one of the pots.

I also can't make out which of the pins I should use. I will have one wire from each pickup - each will go on one side of the switch. And I will have one wire from the volume pot (signal) -> middle of the switch. Which 3 pins should I use? Can I just take one of the two "rows"?

Just run a ground wire with a loop on it to go around the shaft of the mini switch and ground that to the Vol pot chassis.

Yeah, I think the switch body itself is grounded to the foil inside the control route.
          Common ground.
As far as which pins, well, if you use that pattern, you may just have to flip the switch 180 degrees to orient it the way you like.
          Oh well... worked for me.

I may be wrong but it looks like its grounded to the volume pot and which is grounded to the trem spring claw?
