new project wiried up.

excessive noise of the electronic static type, very loud. chrods still come through but as soon as they decay slightly the noise is there to take over.

tames down when rolling off the tone pot.

and is present no matter what position the pickup switch is in.

all solder joints are solid.

wouldn't that just reverse the polarity of the pickups?

i'm running jackson J50n and J50BC with the green wire as hot going to the pickup switch and the black and sheilded wire to ground.

Nope. It actually creates the ground loop. And the buzz is louder than the signal. Just reverse the wires on the output jack. and all should be good.

so this isn't correct? coil A hot and coil C ground.

ok all those who choose input jack are correct. i had my + and - backwards on the jack. everything else was done right.
