the seymour duncan wiring diagrams clearly show toggles getting grounded but blade switches not.

Mine are..
You will be getting your ground to complete the circuit from the pots/jack.

Mine blade switches have a little tab for a ground. It doesn't need to be grounded because like I mention before that it gets it ground from the jack to complete the circuit (path). You can ground the switch on the case as RR mention. This will create a ground just in case the switch fails. Are you having issues?

Grounding switches
It is recommended to ground the body of the switch. Although it probably wont make much difference.
If you 've got a metal tape (shielding) touching the case of the switch and the volume pots, etc Then they are already grounded together.sigpicPlayForFun
