Adding bevels to an RR3. Help please

Will that tape do the job? I'm not looking for the world's most awesome professional finish, just a simple to do little mod.

And, importantly, should I decide to take it off again for some reason - will it damage the guitar when I have to take a hot hairdryer to it?

I don't think you'd have to take a hairdryer to it to take it off.
The tape on the upper bevel where you rest your arm probably will eventually come off from sweat, and wear. Likely just have to re-apply it every once in a new moon.
But yeah that would be what i would use.
