Splitting the SH1 on an SL2H?

Is the SH1N pickup on a SL2H a four connector pickup that could be coil split? Has anyone done this mod? If so, how did it sound?
If not, can anyone recommend a DiMarzio humbucking neck pickup that has great single coil sounds?

no, the sh1n's that come stock in usa jacksons are the 2 conductor models.

You can buy them in 4-conductor. My Mark Morton model has two of them with coil split switches. They do sound pretty good split.

I've thought of this with push/pull pots, volume for the neck pickup, and tone for the bridge pickup.

The '59n is very weak already (to me at least), so I thought it might be a waste of time. The TB4 has promise.

Hanging out on the SD forums, it sounds like running in parallel might be a better option than splitting. You'll only get 2K, but they (SD forum members) say it feels like more output than when split (= 4K).
