Removing MIJ sticker residue

Damn sticker on the back of my RR24's neck kept annoying me, but it's left some sticky residue behind which won't budge using normal guitar polish. What can I use without discolouring or scratching the neck?

Bah! Worked after 3rd attempt. No option allows me to delete this thread.

Have you tried Naptha ("Lighter Fluid")? Works on just about everything without affecting the finish, including Nitro lacquer finishes.
