Does anybody know if I would be able to take out the licensed Floyd Rose and put on an OFR on my Ernie Ball Axis without too much trouble? I guess it would really depend if the post holes and threads are the same size but thought I would ask and see if anyone knew.

IIRC, the Axis should have a Gotoh licensed floyd, so an OFR should drop right in. You should be able to use the posts that the guitar came with. No need to try to put OFR posts in the Gotoh bushings, if that is what you were asking. Usually the threads on licensed posts will vary, and you'll have to switch the bushings out to use the OFR posts, but it's not necessary to do unless the old posts are damaged or something.

Is there something wrong with the Gotoh trem? Lots of people like them as much as an OFR, and I'd definitely give it the nod over the new Chinese OFRs.
